I meet an American guy who is also on my next flight and we talk throughout the flight, but we're not seated near each other on our next flight so I don't see him anymore. My next flight is a 9 hour flight to Minneapolis, Minnesota, operated by Delta. A very nice, steady flight that I enjoy immensely - especially the new films that I haven't seen yet! I have a 2 hr wait at the passport check - there are only 2 desks open for two big airplanes that just arrived... Just my luck that I'm at the end of the line!
Since I have a few hours to kill I roam the stores on the airport and get something to eat and call home to my parents. My last flight is from Minneapolis to Oklahoma City, where I will have a few days before my storm chasing tour with Silver Lining Tours start. On that flight I meet several people - locals or people who live in areas where severe weather occurs - and it amazes me that every single one of them has experienced tornadoes! Needless to say that the last two hours of this journey are the most amusing ones. As we approach OKC we have a lot of turbulence - probably one of the most scariest moments in my life - but once that's over, I get a gorgeous view of the thunderstorms going on... it's like twenty people toying around with light switches at the same time!
When I arrive at OKC, I head for my hotel. By 11PM, I'm in bed.
